David J. Crawford
President and Chief Operating Officer, American Home Shield/AmeriSpec

In March 2006, David J. Crawford was named President and Chief Operating Officer of American Home Shield (AHS).

In January 2006, he was named President of AmeriSpec, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AHS. Dave was appointed Senior Vice President, Sales, of AHS, in January 2005.

Dave began his career with AHS in March of 1987 as Regional Sales Manager. Throughout his career at AHS, he has held several leadership roles, including Regional Sales Manager, Vice President, Southern Region, Vice President, Eastern Division, and Sr. Vice President, Real Estate Sales.

Dave's accomplishments include his Six Sigma Black Belt certification, as well as graduating from the ServiceMaster Grad Program, a professional development program.

Prior to AHS, Dave worked for ERA Real Estate, where he was District Manager, Vice President, and President for their Midwest mortgage company.

Dave serves as an officer and elder of Germantown Presbyterian Church, and currently chairs its Personnel Committee. He served as President for the National Home Warranty Association, 1995-1997, and Vice President from 1994-1995.

Dave graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelors of Science degree. Dave and his wife, Carolyn, have two children, Jason and Megan. They enjoy many activities together, including snow skiing and travel.
