Dennis R. Sutton
President and Chief Operating Officer, TruGreen

Dennis Sutton is President and Chief Operating Officer of TruGreen. He leads all sales and operations for the company.

Previously, Dennis was Senior Vice President from July of 2004 to November of 2004. Throughout his career at TruGreen, Dennis has been instrumental in leading the company's growth to over $1 billion. He started in 1978 as a specialist/sales representative and rose through the ranks, holding the positions of Assistant Manager, Branch Manager, Zone Service Line Manager, District Operations Manager, Region Manager, and Division Vice President.

During his career, he earned several awards for Region of the Year and Most Improved Region.

Dennis studied sociology and psychology at Judson College in 1974 and earned a BS in horticulture/landscape management at Purdue University in 1978. He also completed the ServiceMaster graduate school program in 1997. He's an active member of the Professional LawnCare Applicator Association, International Society of Arboriculture, and American Landscape Contractor Association.

Dennis is involved with community outreach efforts with Hope Presbyterian Church. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, fitness and landscaping. Dennis and his wife, Susan, have three children, Deanna, Bailey and William, and live in the Memphis area.
