Rick Ascolese
President and Chief Operating Officer, TruGreen LandCare

Rick Ascolese is President and Chief Operating Officer of TruGreen LandCare, where he oversees the operational and strategic direction of the company.

Previously, he spent 18 years with another ServiceMaster business unit, American Home Shield. Throughout his career at AHS he held several leadership positions, including his last position of Executive Vice President, where he oversaw sales, marketing and operations.

Rick has played many roles in the service industry for more than 20 years under various business models, such as mechanical services (appliances, HVAC, and plumbing), home warranty and landscape maintenance. His background also includes working at General Electric.

Rick received a B.A. in sociology from Miami University in Ohio and his M.B.A. in marketing and management from University of Cincinnati.

Rick describes himself as a pragmatic idealist who has a strong passion for people development. He's an active volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America and his local church. His hobbies include golf, hiking, camping and reading.
